The Cortina Systems® FLCS4212C Electronic Dispersion Compensation Device (EDC) is highly integrated with four 10 Gbps clock and data recovery (CDR) circuits. Two channels have the optional capability for integrated Electronic Dispersion Compensation (EDC). This functionality supports 2 SFP+ modules that can be either limited or linear. Enabling the EDC capability allows the device to operate with linear SFP+ optical modules to extend the operating range of 62.5 um and 50 um multimode fiber to 220 m and beyond.
