CS1777 - OC 192/48 Integrated Framer Palermo is an OC-192C SONET framer and mapper, with full support for POS, GFP, and ATM formats. It provides direct line-side interfaces to all popular 10 Gbps optical modules, including the 300-pin MSA, XENPAK, X2, and XFP. Palermo and Cortina's Milan are the first devices in the industry to integrate an XFP serdes into a large digital ASIC, and they exceed all SONET jitter and eye specifications. With its flexibility in framing and optics choices combined with industry-leading performance, Palermo is an ideal OC-192c solution for routing platforms.
